Guided by the gods of the island —Love, Earth, Water, and Death — one brave girl, Ti Moune, sets out on a transformative journey where she challenges the boundaries of her world. With the gods holding sway, Ti Moune must confront the ultimate decision.. What will she choose: free will, love or destiny?

ActUp Theater's Journey of Art and Activism
In its 10th year, ActUp Theater not only celebrates a decade of artistic excellence but also our significant role in building a more inclusive and diverse arts community. We have intentionally hired more than 100 BIPOC artists and professionals, fostering a workforce ecosystem that enriches our productions and reflects the diversity of our audience. This ensures that our performances—whether original works or reimagined classics—offer our community a mirror to their own experiences and dreams.
Over the years, ActUp Theater has grown from a local initiative to a multifaceted performing arts company. After being recognized with the CT Presidential Award in Theater we promised to continue our ongoing commitment to not only showcase theatrical works but to also educate, engage, and inspire.
ActUp Theater is more than just a place to watch a play; it's a space where dreams are realized, voices are heard, and the community thrives together. Here's to many more years of mobilizing the power of the arts.
