ActUp Theater got back in
the habit with Sister Act!

Over 2000 audience members joined ActUp Theater for the winter production of SISTER ACT! Our cast featured over 60 talented performers who used their infectious energy to tell this heartwarming story. This toe-tapping, feel-good experience left everyone clapping their hands and tapping their feet.

Diva Deloris witnesses a murder and is placed in protective custody as the one thing no one would suspect: A NUN. Disguised as a nun she uses her unique talents to inspire not only the choir, but also finds salvation in the heavenly power of her newly found sisterhood and the community. Deloris is then needed to help teach music to teens at a troubled school in hopes of keeping the facility from closing. Can Sister Mary Clarence shape the rowdy kids into a real choir?

This gloriously funny musical, set in the '90s, brings together comedy, music, and the power of finding your own voice!
