Community Outreach Coordinator
ActUp Theater is searching for a talented and professional Community Outreach Coordinator to maintain all community outreach activities. You will represent the company and work with the management team to develop and implement initiatives that increase company visibility within the surrounding community. The main duties include; reaching out to schools and businesses to organize popups, auditions, help with recruitment and group sales of tickets.
School Liaison
ActUp Theater is searching for a talented and professional School Liaison for the purpose/s of providing information on programs/services available to students and families at our local schools about ActUp Theater. The main duties include reaching out to local schools and organizations to set up auditions, promote pop-ups, organize interns, inform and offer group rates on tickets for any upcoming shows.
Seasonal Costume Assistant
ActUp Theater is looking for a Seasonal Costume Assistant. The main roles would be collaborating with directors on the vision of the show then collecting wardrobe options for the cast. During showtime, the main duties would include looking after the costumes between takes or scenes, mending and altering items and storing costumes and returning hired items (known as 'breaking down' costumes). You will play a great part in setting the tone of a story and enhancing the actor’s performance.
Backstage Manager
ActUp Theater is seeking a Stage Manager for their upcoming season. The main roles of the stage manager include coordinating all aspects of the production or event, including actors, technical staff, props, scenery, and costumes. They make sure technicians and performers alike are in the right place at the right time and ready to meet their cues. The backstage manager is needed through the second half of the entire rehearsal schedule, through tech week and showtime.
Office Intern
ActUp Theater is seeking an office intern to assist with general office duties. The Office Intern will be responsible for assisting the staff with general office duties including, but not limited to, research, data entry, filing, and general coordination.
